Hello and welcome to Medical Detectives, a PLTW course at Norris Middle School!
This is a Single Semester elective. In the Medical Detectives (MD) unit, students play the role of real-life medical detectives as they collect and analyze medical data to diagnose disease. They solve medical mysteries through hands-on projects and labs, measure and interpret vital signs, dissect a sheep brain, investigate disease and outbreaks, and explore how a breakdown within the human body can lead to dysfunction.
A weekly agenda will be posted on my Google Classroom home page. If a student is absent, they will need to check the Absent Binder system upon their return to make up any work they missed. Please contact me at [email protected] or through ParentSquare if you have any questions!
