Google Classroom
Most assignment instructions are posted on Google Classroom. Assignment names should correlate with the titles of assignments in PowerSchool if you should have any questions about assignment details.
Lesson Plans
All weekly lesson plans can be found on the "Weekly Lesson Plans" tab to the left. There, you will find a Google Slide Show with a list of important upcoming dates and my lesson plans for the week.
Absent students
Since not all assignments are posted on Google Classroom, it is expected that students check Google Classroom and the weekly lesson plans (which can be found in Google Classroom) to see what they have missed. Please have students complete all assignments to receive credit. If there are any questions, please have your student email me. Students will be responsible for completing this work, so make sure they do not put it off and get behind.

- Education: East Bakersfield High School Bachelors of Arts, Liberal Studies (CSUB) Masters in Education, Best Practices (National Uni) Teaching History: I spent my first 3 years teaching Jr. High ELA and Math at a local private school. I then took a few years off of teaching to start a family. When I returned to the classroom, I taught in the Academic Development Department at Bakersfield College, where I taught courses in math and writing composition for a year. My family then made a drastic move overseas to Scotland. While in Scotland I taught upper grades in primary school for 2 years. When we returned back to the states in 2018, I landed this amazing job teaching Jr. high here at Norris Middle School and have been enjoying myself ever since.
