Thursday 10/9
Today we started discussing the 3.3 KTS. Students were to also do the Guided Reading Lesson 3.
Wednesday 10/8. Minimum Day
Today students were to turn in the 3.2 Packet. Also, all work from this quarter is due today.
Students were to also do the 3.3 KTS today.
Tuesday 10/7: Today students were to do both the 3.2 PQ and 3.2 GQ.
There was also a short video with a video quiz at the end of the period.
Monday 10/6: Today we finished discussing the 3.2 KTS
Students were to also do the "21st Century Skills" sheet today.
Friday 10/3: Students were given time today to complete any tasks from yesterday. In the last part of the period we discussed the 3.2 KTS.
Thursday 10/2: Mr. Lamb was out again today. Students were to turn in their 3.1 Packet and do the 3.2 KTS today.
Wednesday 10/1 Minimum Day
Today students were to complete both the Paper Quiz and the Google Quiz
Packets are due tomorrow. Students were given time to complete any of the purple sheet from this packet.
Tuesday 9/30: Students were given time today to complete yesterdays assignment. We also continued discussing the 3.1 KTS
Monday 9/29: Mr. Lamb was out today. Students were to do the Guided Reading Lesson 1 assignment with the sub today. We will finish/stamp these tomorrow.
Friday 9/26:
Today we continued discussing the 3.1 KTS.
Students were to also do the Treaty of Paris Map. This is a paper assignment but students will need to refer to the color version of the map on Classroom
Thursday 9/25:
Today students were given time to finish the 3.1 KTS. We started discussing the KTS in the last half of the period.
Wednesday 9/24: Extra Short Minimum Day
Today students were to:
-Turn in the 2.5 Packet
-Take the 2.5 GQ
-Start 3.1 KTS
Tuesday 9/23: Today we finished discussing the 2.5 KTS. We also watched Crash Course "7 Years War..." and did a video quiz.
Monday 9/22: Back to regular schedule.
Today we continued discussing the 2.5 KTS. In the last part of the period, students were to do the PQ 2.5.
Friday 9/19: Today we reviewed chapter 2 using Kahoot!
Thursday 9/18: Students were given the first 10 minutes of the period to complete the KTS 2.5 and get it stamped. We began discussing the 2.5 KTS after that first 10 minutes.
Wednesday 9/17: We continued working on the 2.5 KTS today. It is very long so students can finish it tomorrow.
Tuesday 9/16: Students were to turn in the 2.4 Packet (gold) today. They were to also take the 2.4 GQ. Once all that was done, they were to start the 2.5 KTS.
Monday 9/15. Parent/Teacher Conference Schedule all week:
Today students were to complete the Southern Colonies Sheet.
Also, if students didn't finish the 2.4 PQ Friday they could complete it today.
Friday 9/12: Today we continued discussing the 2.4 KTS. Students were to also do the 2.4 PQ
Thursday 9/11: Today we watched a video explaining 9/11 for students. After that students were to work on the 2.4 KTS
Wednesday 9/10 Minimum Day
Today students were to turn in the pink 2.3 Packet
Students also started the gold 2.4 KTS. Most students should have completed this today but we will have time at the start or the period tomorrow if needed.
Tuesday 9/9: Students were to do the Middle Colonies sheet. After that was complete they were to do the PQ 2.3 and the GQ 2.3.
Monday 9/8:
Today we finished discussing the 2.3 KTS. In the last part of the period, we watched Crash Course: "The Quakers, the Dutch, and the Ladies". There is a pink video quiz sheet for this.
Friday 9/5: Students were to complete the KTS 2.3 if needed. We then discussed the KTS. Students were also told to check their grades on PowerSchool.
Thursday 9/4: Today students were to turn in the 3 green papers for the 2.2 packet.
Students were to also take the 2.2 quiz on Google Classroom. (GQ 2.2).
Finally students were to start work on the 2.3 KTS (pink in color).
Wednesday 9/3 Minimum Day: Students were to make sure they had the work from yesterday completed. All students were to to the Puritans Sheet and get it stamped. Finally, all students were to read the next lesson (2.3).
Tomorrow we will be turning in the green 2.2 packet.

Tuesday 9/2: Today we finished discussing the 2.2 KTS. Students were to also do the 2.2 PQ (paper quiz).
Friday 8/29: Today students were to complete the 2.2 KTS. We began discussing the KTS in the last part of the period.
Thursday 8/28: We completed the "Rebels" video and video quiz today.

Today we also took the first GQ or "Google Classroom Quiz". This is the first time we've tried Google Classroom this year so we'll have to see how it goes.
Wednesday 8/27: Special Assembly Day/Minimum Day schedule. Today all students were to make sure they were enrolled in my Google Classroom. Students were to also make sure all work is completed and ready to turn in tomorrow. In the last part of the class, we watched another segment of "Rebels".
Tuesday 8/26: Today students were to make sure they completed both the PQ 2.1 and the 13 Colonies Map.
Also, students were to log in to Google Classroom and enroll in my classroom.
In the last half of the period, we started the "America: The Story of US Rebels" video. There is a video quiz that goes with this.
Monday 8/25: Today students did the 2.1 PQ or 'Paper Quiz'. Students were to take this without and help and then self check/grade using the book. This assignment will go into the 2.1 Packet.
Students were to also complete the 13 Colonies Map. This will also go into the 2.1 Packet.
Friday 8/22: We finished the discussion of the 2.1 KTS. I also had students log into Clever to see if they could access the online version of the textbook. Students were then give and quick tutorial about navigating the online book.
Thursday 8/21: We began discussing the 2.1 KTS
Wednesday 8/20 Minimum Day: Today students were to turn in the packet of 3 white papers. These are listed below under Tuesday.
Students were also given time to complete the 2.1 KTS sheet from yesterday. If there was time left we started discussing the 2.1 KTS.
Tuesday 8/19: Students were assigned their 3-digit numbers for books and Chromebooks today. All students were to complete the US Physical Map today and get it stamped. We will also start the KTS (Know This Stuff) worksheet for Chapter 2, Lesson 1 before the end of the period.

Monday 8/18: Seating charts were installed today. Students who didn't finish the US Map by the Numbers on Friday had time to complete it today. Students were given a new map, US Physical Map, to work on today. We will complete that map tomorrow.
Friday 8/15: Today students did the "Crash Course: Colonizing America" video quiz. After the video/quiz, students did the US Map by the Numbers. This paper should have been stamped. If it is not, well will take care of the tomorrow.
Thursday 8/14: Today we briefly discussed some campus-wide expectations. Then we did a thinking/discussing activity.
Wednesday 8/13: FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL.
Today we will take roll etc and discuss class procedures and expectations.
