My name is Jared Dalgleish and I am the Band Director at Norris Middle School. I am so excited to lead you through an awesome music education! 

 

First a little about myself...I am originally from Wisconsin and received my Bachelor of Music in Instrumental Music Education from UW-Stevens Point and my Masters of Music in Trombone from Western Michigan University. I play trombone professionally in the Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra and Bakersfield Jazz Orchestra. I instruct the college low brass students at Cal State Bakersfield and teach private trombone lessons of all ages on the side. I have been in the Norris School District for five years and my wife, Stephanie Dalgleish, the band director at South High School, and I are expecting our first baby boy in January! We have two Siberian Huskies, Nala and Packer, a bearded dragon, and a cat, Marley. When I am not teaching band I usually am cheering on the Green Bay Packers, watching Star Wars, or playing disc golf!
