Information: In this course, we are following the Elevate Science Curriculum. Each student will be provided with a consumable Elevate Science Workbook for each quarter. Interactive Science Notebooks for each student are kept in the classroom.
Canvas: Assignments will be posted on Canvas for students who miss class. This can be accessed through Clever.

- I am originally from the sunshine state of Florida. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Science from Florida State University and hold a Single Subject Credential in general Science from the state of CA. This is my seventeenth year of teaching and my sixth year at Norris Middle School. I am married to another teacher. My husband is a professor at CSU Bakersfield and teaches Music Education. We have two daughters who attend school in the Norris district as well. We are also parents to two mini Australian Shepherds, Piper and Callie. I am so excited for this new school year and am looking forward to working with you and your child.
