Virtual Choir Project FINAL VIDEOS go here! in Google Classroom

Virtual Choir Project FINAL VIDEOS go here!

Please see attached Instructions for Project. Please read entirely, and follow directions carefully. Due date for assignment is Sunday, 5/17 at 5pm.

Due:

DUE May 8 - Rehearsal Recordings for YWBF - m. 78 through END, OR the entire song in Google Classroom

DUE May 8 - Rehearsal Recordings for YWBF - m. 78 through END, OR the entire song

You are to VOICE RECORD (just audio, not video) yourself singing in your voice part (Soprano, Alto, or Baritone) the song You Will Be Found, using the sheet music and the choral tracks I provided when we were still in our classroom.

Assignment 1 (was due on April 24) was to record and send me measures 1-52
Assignment 2 (was due May 30) is to record and send me measures 52-78
Assignment 3 (is due Friday, May 8) is to record and send me measures 78-end of song

*If you have not completed any of these assignments, please get caught up, OR just record the ENTIRE song by next Friday and upload it here.
*If you have already sent me the other ones, please upload assignment 3 here.

HOW: Use earbuds or headphones to play the CHORAL TRACK I provided for YOUR PART in your ear. This is VERY important so you are singing WITH the guy on the track. This will keep you in the correct key and timing.

While you are listening to it in your ear, sing it outloud into a Voice Memo app on ANOTHER device.

Save the recording or email it to yourself and save it on a computer (or however you want to save it), and upload your recording(s) and attach it here. Click submit, so I get it.

Questions? Send me in private message.

The Effect of Music in Google Classroom

The Effect of Music

Your assignment is to watch this video in its entirety (it's only 5 minutes long) and comment below with 2 takeaways (aka things you learned or things that really made you go "hmmmmm..."), and also one example of an "earworm song", and it can't be one that was mentioned in the video.
You'll give me these three things, in complete sentences in a comment below. Have fun!

FLIPGRID ASSIGNMENT 1 in Google Classroom

FLIPGRID ASSIGNMENT 1

We will be using FlipGrid to make individual videos and store them on our "Grid" which is our class. Please click on the link below, and READ the directions, and then WATCH my intro video, to know what to do. You will sign into FlipGrid using your SCHOOL EMAIL. Do not use a personal email... it won't work (kinda like when you try to use a personal email to open vocal tracks....). Just remember you start making a video by clicking the GREEN PLUS SIGN. Let me know if you have any problems!
When it asks for the grid code it is: thomaschoirs2020
