Mrs. Sterling's ELA Class
WELCOME
Thank you for stopping by! I am Mrs. Sterling, a new addition to the 8th grade ELA Department at NMS! I am very familiar with Norris as well as several of the teachers, as my daughter graduated from NMS in 2021. I quickly fell in love with the district and have felt so welcomed and at home by staff AND students. I look forward to seeing what this school year brings, as well as the growth and accomplishments of each student!
About me
As a wife of 16 years and mother of 2 very active kiddos, I am ALWAYS moving! If I am not camping with my family, or at Disneyland, you can see my husband and I sitting courtside at one of our daughter's many Volleyball games, or in the bleachers at our son's football games. We have an adorable 3-year-old Cocker Spaniel named Charlie, and a newly adopted kitten who goes by the name of Murtaugh Fitzgibbons (the kids call him Fitz).
Education
I have two associate's degrees from Taft College. My first AS is in Administration of Justice, and my second is in History. I received my BA in Integrated Studies in Education as well as my Single Subject Credential from PLNU.
