My name is Cassie and I was born and raised in Sacramento, CA. I recently moved to Bakersfield to live with my fiancé Nick in his hometown. Nick is a salesman at Men's Wearhouse, tell him I sent ya!
I attended CSU East Bay and majored in Kinesiology, received my teaching credential and earned my Master's degree all while playing volleyball for the Pioneers.
I come from a long line of teachers, many of them PE teachers. My father taught PE and coached girls basketball for 35 years in Sacramento and is now an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at CSU Sacramento. My Mother taught PE and coached girls volleyball for 30 years and now enjoys retirement. My younger but much taller brother, played basketball overseas in France after graduating from Humboldt State with a business degree. His day job pays the bills but his evening job of refereeing Junior College Basketball is his passion. He hopes to move up the ranks and become a NCAA Division 1 referee.
I have been teaching PE for the past 8 years. In that time, I have taught all grade levels and found that junior high students are the most fun. In the past I have coached girls volleyball and basketball at my schools. This year I will be coaching the 7th Grade Girls Open Volleyball Team and hoping to coach basketball as well.
I am a fan of most sports, highly reppin' my home teams! San Francisco Giants, San Francisco 49ers, and the Sacramento Kings! Nick and I like to attend sporting events, comedy shows and concerts as well as make frequent trips to the beach. My favorite color is pink, I'm a Type One Diabetic and addicted to Starbucks.
I look forward to teaching you new skills and educating you on fitness for life.
